Great Cafe, friendly people. Delicious omelets, sandwiches, coffee, and breakfasts
That croque madame was outstanding.
A fav spot for cafe food. a preferred evening place. next time i'll be back with my coworkers. this place has a nice atmosphere.
Super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. I took a real French friend to test its authenticity. He said it wasn't exactly like France, but the food is still tasty. Coffee is average but orange juice and baked goods are great.
One of my favorite gems. Cute cafe, family owned. Not much seating, so don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. But it's totally worth it.
Great French cafe, food is amazing. The owner is very sociable and sweet. Cappuccino is perfect, the breakfast sandwiches and pastries are amazing. Definelty a great spot for breakfast or lunch.
Small cafe with a great french vibe. Highly recommend their coffee, sandwiches and croissants.
Pretty nice place
Great place to stop for simple, yet delicious, sandwiches and salads. During the warmer months the outside seating offers interesting people watching.
The owner is RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL ! I was quietly eating lunch with my associate and the waiter kept giving nasty looks to my associate because she had brought her own sandwich because she has major health problems and is super cautious who makes her food. She also ordered cocoa from their cafe as to not be rude and buy nothing. As I was eating, the waiter sneakily told the manager about my associate. The manager SCREAMED at my associate and TOLD HER SHE WAS RUDE FOR BRINGING FOOD EVEN THOUGH SHE HAS HEALTH ISSUES WITH FOOD AND IS EXTRA PRECAUTIOUS. The whole restaurant stopped and stared. There are ways to talk to customers in a customer related field. DO NOT DISRESPECT customers ESPECIALLY WITH HEALTH RELATED ISSUES. After she screamed, she told us we could stay. I lost all appetite and we left because we value our dignity and respect.
Great host, small shop, attentive and friendly staff. Good place for a routine morning cup of coffee. They also have a bunch of quiche offerings, as well as pastries and stuff.
located 23rd Lombard you can book private affairs
My experience at the cafe was amazing. The food was awesome and the atmosphere is incredible. I was having a very stressful day but my server Nick’s calm and relaxed attitude rubbed off on me and I no longer felt stressed when I left.
It's a nice, French-themed cafe, like in Paris. The staff is friendly, the coffee and food and great.
So cute and delicious. Would highly recommend the soup and quiches!
Le Chevre- my favorite sandwich! Their coffee is amazing especially with a chocolate croissant 🥐☕
Tapas are a little pricey from what I am used to growing up in Spain. Some things are very good, others fall a little short for the price.
A nice family owned and operated place, homey food and great neighborhood vibe. Always enjoy coming here
Good location for cafe food. Food with real quality ingredients. The bill was well within reason for the quality. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.
Very nice and friendly place.
Exelent
I am obsessed with this place. I’m out of town now quarantining and I miss it every day. I dream of the tomato bisque and the iced coffees. HELP KEEP THIS WONDERFUL SMALL BUSINESS GOING!! It’s very reasonably priced and they are really kind. I’m confused why it doesn’t have a 5 star rating.
Excellent food and atmosphere with great service.
Good lunches and friendly staff.
cafe food and service at this place is super good. I was super full. The staff was very welcoming and sociable. The bill was well within reason for the quality. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I loved.
Amazing food, true neighborhood gem
I loved the Camembert/ham omelette.
They have byob tapas on Tuesdays that are amazing. Also a great casual place for brunch or coffee
We arrived with a group of 7 people, which is quite large for this place, but for some inexplicable reason, while one of the owners tried to accomodate us, the other said that they cant do more than 6 people. We proceeded to eat elsewhere.
Every time I have come to this restaurant both the service and the food has been amazing. The quiche is to die for! 10/10 recommend checking out this cute French cafe!!
I love this café. Great sandwiches and service.
Exquisite food and service. A gem.
Cafe food here - very good. I can say this place does it for me. Looking forward to returning with my friends. The bill was average for the menu. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I liked.
Cute local spot and good food, but unfortunately sub-mediocre service. They are rude enough to ask a customer to just leave because it is lunch time and there is a bigger party of people at the door. I recommend the staff to either ask the person sitting whether they want to have any more food, or give them a heads up about their approaching lunch time well in advance. Considering the many positive reviews of their service, I think their motto when it comes to customers is "size matters." Disappointing level of unfriendliness for a promising place.
Great food with a friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The French owners create some classic French "Café" dishes (omelettes, sandwiches, etc.) with an american twist that render the food delicious to pair with one of their very-well prepared coffees! Highly recommend all to check out cafe Lutecia
Lutecia was the name of the Roman city that predates the city of Paris. Great eclectic music is played there to set the tone. Savory omleletes all day (at least until they close at 3pm). Atmosphere bring you to Paris. Unassuming and unpretentious.
Quaint corner cafe in the french traditions--- quiche, baguettes, that sort of thing (luckily the coffee was good too). Sort of place you can imagine stopping by with an actual printed newspaper if you actually have one of those things and reading it on a warm summer mornings. Don't expect the trappings of a modern coffee shop, and enjoy it for what it is...
Even though the food was good/ok I would not come back there because of slow and uncooperative service. When inquired why was I waiting for the food to arrive for more than 30+ minutes the waiter said they "were orders placed before mine" - which, I believe, is an inappropriate answer in the restaurant industry. Also, when the food was brought there was no apology from the staff for a long wait. I also noticed few other patrons waiting anxiously for their food. If you're not hungry, that a perfect place to go and chat while waiting for food. This place seemed to me a "neighborhood café" rather than tourist friendly establishments.
Good food, nice service. Needs more menu options or dishes of the day.
I just love their food. I always get good service there. The place is neat and the cashiers are always welcoming. I highly recommend this place.
A true gem! Love the friendly owners and staff and the French food is comforting and yummy.
Lovely spot. Nice staff. Great ambiance. Food disappoints. I ercooked burger and cold fries. 19 dollar lobster salad with a tablespoon of lobster and 1/4 overripe avocado. Second time we have been disappointed. Bummer because it is a beautiful place
Great food, wonderful service
We came in for a quick bite---soup and sandwich. The food was very tasty and the staff very friendly. Seems like a great cozy spot.
Great food even better service.
So sweet, so delicious
Everything is great, the coffee, the food, and the staff.
We recently got a little place a few blocks away and so happy to have discovered this place. Nothing fancy but perfect. Low-key, tasty, friendly but not obsequious, crowded but never rushed, not everyone's cup-o-instant tea (or coffee) but a valuable local treasure if you have the time to take a deep breath and not be an impatient tourist.
Beautiful space, beautiful food, beautiful and a beautiful host. Don't think of this place as a small restaurant, it's more like a large family dining room. You won't be disappointed with anything.
Fantastic French food and experience. Now that I moved out of the city, it's the only place I want to go when I return. Can't say enough good things about the place.
